A few days ago, in the middle of the night, the child woke up and said “I want to climb a tree”

So, after school on Friday, he had merienda and then we took him to the park to try and climb a tree.

we started simple, he climbed a tree stump. he was so happy and proud
most of the trees in the village were pretty tall and hard to find hand and footholds, so we just lifted him up to climb. he stayed there for a while then said “MOMMY THERE ARE ANTS!”
There are other people who have never climbed a tree either but will not be named in this post.
